Yankees Roll Up Their Sleeves For Alzheimer's
The mother of Yankees play-by-play announcer Michael Kay died from this disease and the father of Joe Girardi has it. As Mark Teixeira says in the video, within 50 years, one out of every 5 people will either have the disease or will be caring for someone who has it. Kudos to the Yankees for stepping up to the plate for Alzheimer's Disease.
It is a very, very tough disease to deal with. God Bless all those who have to.

I feel for all those who are dealing with this disease. My great grandmother is 98, turning 99 in November and has had it since 2004, when I was only 13. It is tough, but sometimes, you just have to laugh to let the pain of it go away. Hope there is a cure soon. No one should have to deal with this.

Great to see the Yankees getting behind this. I still remember Girardi's press conference when he was introduced as the new manager and his voice catching when he spoke of his father. May they find a cure someday soon!
